However, on nights when it can get really cold, such as below 10 degrees Celsius, the Re Quilt Winter 2 can be layered with other comforters for extra warmth. For the warmest option in winter, the Re Quilt Winter 2 + Re Fleece comforter combination is ideal. With this comforter layering system, you don't need to buy an extra extra-warm comforter that you can only use a few days a year, reducing waste and space consumption.

Moreover, because it doesn't use "one extra-thick quilt," it allows for the free combination of quilts of different thicknesses and styles, and even several quilts can be stacked together for use. Therefore, it can be combined with different temperatures, so you can sleep comfortably at the perfect temperature all year round.

Seeing the wide variety of winter quilts on the market, I wanted to simplify things. Life is already full of worries, and everyone's time is limited. Therefore, I wanted to create a winter quilt truly designed for Hong Kong's winter climate: high-quality, comfortable, and perfectly suited for Hong Kong's winter conditions. There's also a personal reason: I'm just an ordinary Hong Konger, and the Hong Kong market is too small; big brands rarely design products specifically for the Hong Kong market that meet local needs. Through Re Pillow Co., I hope we can also create truly useful products for Hong Kong.

The Re Quilt Winter 2 is designed for most nighttime temperatures in Hong Kong winters, around 15 degrees Celsius. It's perfectly warm enough for Hong Kong winters without being too thick or stuffy. On days when the temperature drops below 10 degrees Celsius, the comforter might not be warm enough. This is because, in its design, I didn't want this winter comforter to only be used a few days a year. On particularly cold days, users can add layers, or layer it with our other comforters such as the Re Fleece or Re Quilt 2 for extra warmth, or even, in extreme cases, layer all three together for maximum thickness.

Each Re Quilt Winter 2 comes with a non-woven zippered bag, which you'll find inside the quilt when you receive it. When the weather warms up, you can use this zippered bag to cover the winter quilt before putting it in the closet to prevent it from getting dusty. You can then take it out again the following winter.

Throughout the design process, we aimed to compete with products priced around HK$3000 in the winter, and priced them at HK$1080 for a single person and HK$1280 for a double person. Our goal was to offer a better product at a more reasonable price, similar to Re Pillow, which is several times more expensive. However, with the weather getting colder, we want our new product to be accessible to more people, hence the more affordable price. So, if you're interested, now is the time.

A special note: If you prefer a firmer, heavier winter comforter, the Re Quilt Winter 2 is not for you. The Re Quilt Winter 2 is a light and soft winter comforter; it's not so light as to feel completely weightless—but it leans towards lightness and softness, and is definitely not a heavy cotton comforter. If you want a heavy and firm winter comforter, the Re Quilt Winter 2 will not be suitable.
