Wishing that you were Arnold Schwarzenegger while bringing your mattress up, stretching your sheets and hopelessly realising that your perfectionism would not allow you to finish until it's 100% even.
If you’re unfortunately sleeping on a bed against a wall, congratulations, you’ve unlocked the extra hard mode of bed-making. Thinking of how to reach the side against the wall and ended up searching life hacks to easily make your bed.
After all those bending, lifting, pulling and walking, you’re left with back pain and sweat. Looking at the creases on your sheet, you start to wonder if you would be experiencing this again and again every time. Why, in the 21st Century, when everyone is talking about AI and electric cars and still there is not a solution for something that everyone has to do regularly.
This is me every time when I make my bed, spending hours to spread my sheets and swear that I would never do this again. Enough of all these STUPID designs that frustrates everyone on a regular basis!
Opps! Apologies I still haven’t introduced myself… If you’re new to our web, Hi there! I’m Ryan, an ordinary 25-year-old who decided to make my own pillow because I failed to find a perfect pillow for myself when I was in uni. And this is when my first pillow - Re Pillow Gen1. was born and why this web is called repillow.co. At first this was just a small project to improve my own life, but then more and more people tried it and came back saying that this is something that should be promoted to the public. I created this website so everyone could try out my pillow and surprisingly received so much lovely feedback. Upon graduation, I decided to work full time for Re Pillow Co. and make this ‘small project’ something that could benefit everyone.
After our success in Re Pillow, I started to think a bit more, except an excellent pillow, what else could I do for the public? What is something that everyone dreads most and still not yet solved? When I was changing my beddings, I got the answer. At the end of year 2021, I started to investigate how to make a bed sheet that is easy to change.
Material, design, corners, and even the spread of physical force, every single detail has to be thought through just to make this work.
I tried all sorts of ways to connect the sheets, buttons, hook and loop fasteners, snap fasteners, you name it …
And after all these hard work, I would like to proudly introduce you Re Bedding, a bed sheet that makes bed-making so much easier. I genuinely believe this is a revolutionary step in bedding.
What is Re Bedding ?
Re Bedding is a result of 2 years of hard work and a whole new imagination of how bedding could be. It is composed of two parts - Base and Top Sheet. Base is a soft frame that surrounds all four sides of the mattress, as you can see the lighter grey part on the animation above. Top Sheet is a plain sheet that covers the top of the mattress and is connected to the base with a zipper. Top Sheet could be removed regularly for laundry and the only thing you need to do to remove is just to unzip it, no more lifting and walking around.

Fitting close to the corners
There are triangular-shaped elastic cloth attached to all four corners of both sides of the Base to make sue it fits tight to the mattress.
Fitting mattresses of different thicknesses
When you turn the mattress over, you’ll notice that the bottom of the base uses a drawstring instead of elastic band to attach to the mattress. As there are so many different thicknesses for mattresses, even sheets of the same size with elastic band could fit completely different on different mattresses, some are fitted tight, some are fitted loose. Drawstring is not a one size thing and would not rely on elasticity, allowing everyone to fit perfectly according to their own mattress.
Another good thing is, it is more durable as it does not rely on elasticity. It’s common that elastic bands become loose with time and by then you have no choice but to change a new one. With a drawstring, even after years of washing, it’ll still fit perfectly.
A Smooth and Durable Zipper
Now you might start to wonder, okay zipper is a good idea, but there are so many zippers that would not zip well, getting stuck in the middle and stopped working after years of washing. This is why making sure we get the best zipper is one of the most important parts of Re Bedding. I spend loads of time finding a suitable zipper just to make this work. Lucky enough, I got the chance to meet a representative from YKK Japan, the world's largest and most trusted brand on zipper production. And after repeated discussions, we have chosen a type of jumbo zipper under YKK Brand. It is smoother and more durable than normal nylon zippers, works perfectly on our product. After loads of testing, we’re overjoyed by how good Re Bedding is working with high quality zippers from YKK.
Top Sheet: What texture? It's your call
I always think when you’re making a product, the most crucial part is to ace the basics then something else. What I mean by this is - now forget everything about the pros of easy zipping and changing, just treat Re Bedding as a normal bed sheet, is it a good enough bed sheet? If someone is comparing Re Bedding with some other bed sheets, does Re Bedding have better touch, texture, breathability, hypoallergenicity and so on?
Different people have different preferences for texture and it’s hard to make one that fits all, this is why we launched different texture series for you to choose.
ULTRA FINE COLLECTION
Ultra Fine Collection used TENCEL™ fibers from Lenzing AG Austria and is famous for its natural and comfy touch. If you’re a fan of silky, fresh and slightly cool texture for bedding, this will be your go-to. The only downside is because of its fine texture, it is not suitable for tumble drying or someone who’s looking for a thicker texture. （TENCEL™ is a trademark of Lenzing AG.）
EVERYDAY COLLECTION
The Everyday Collection is made from 100% Premium Lyocell, which is a 100% plant fiber made from wood pulp. The common thing with Ultra Fine Collection is that both of them are made from wood, which means they’re very breathable, hygroscopic and have a slightly cool touch, suitable for people who can’t stand the heat especially in hot weathers. Unlike the Ultra Fine Collection, the texture would be bit more sturdy and tough and thus more durable. It can withstand washing machines and dryers and might be a good idea if you want frequent washing but also durability in the long run.
Gen. 2 Cotton Collection
The new Gen2. Cotton Collection is a new collection that combines both the softness of Ultra Fine Collection and sturdiness of Everyday Collection. It uses the newest generation of denselyt woven 100% cotton, giving a comfy and thicker texture. And thanks to the 100% cotton, it is soft, breathable, absorbent of moisture, durable and 100% safe to be in a washing machine and dryer. And all Top Sheets of Gen.2 Cotton Collection will come with two matching pillow cases. If you prefer the comfy cotton texture together with the ease of washing, this would be something for you.
Easy to clean
As the Top Sheet of Re Bedding is a plain flat sheet, it could be cleaned more thoroughly and dried easily.
Small pockets on both sides
There is a small add-on when designing Re Bedding, on both sides of the Base, there’s a small pocket, just located at where you could naturally touch when you lie down.
The size of the pocket is just right for small stuff like a phone, a torch, pocket tissue… just something you want to have handy right next to you.

Can the Base be washed?
Of course! Most of the time it only gets dirty on the top and that’s why Re Bedding is designed in the way that you only need to change the Top Sheet regularly without going into the sides, but the Base could also be removed and washed, it is suitable for washing machines as well.
What size of mattress could Re Bedding be fitted on?
There are 13 types of sizes of mattress that could be fitted with Re Bedding, including Single, Double, King Size, Queen Size and more:

Why would you design Re Bedding? What for?
Whenever I change my sheets, I find the whole thing inconvenient and unhandy. Mattress is one of the biggest and heaviest household furniture and we still have to lift it up or reach under every time.
We all have our loved ones. After a long day of work, all I want is to spend some more time with my family, kids and myself but not on those demanding household chores. Life is short, I’m not a superhero, but I just want to do my best to make a difference, so everyone could spend more time on something you treasure instead of changing your bedding or even arguing about who’s in charge of changing.
My own parents are getting older as well, I can’t help them all the time but I don’t want to see them doing all the bending and lifting all the time and end up with back problems, Re Bedding is definitely something that makes their life easier.
Can different series of Top Sheet be used on the same Base?
Yes! As long as the size is correct, no matter what series or textures could be used on the same Base.

1. N.B. This is not something for everyone
Not everyone wants to try something new and there’s nothing wrong about it. Re Bedding is completely different from any bed sheets in the market and it takes a bit time to learn and get used to. But when you get the hang of it, it just gets so easy. If you only want to stick with traditional bed sheets, this is not something for you. If you want to give it a go, I promise, when you look back, you’ll think this is the best investment you’ve made this year.
2. Check the size of your mattress
If you want to give it a go, congratulations, because this is a right decision and not everyone has the guts to do so.
The next thing to do is to check the size of your mattress, see if the sizes available would fit:
There is a 2-3CM leeway, eg. if your mattress is 122x183CM, you can choose 120x183CM.
We don’t currently have other sizes except the above. If you wanted to try Re Bedding but there’s no suitable size available, please let use know by emailing us at support@repillow.co. We’re hoping to add more sizes to our list if possible.
3. Pick the Base and Top Sheet of the correct size
Below are Base and Top Sheet of different sizes, colours and textures for you to choose from.
The last thing to say is, cause there are specific requirements and limitations on producing Re Bedding, it’s very tricky to make this work in Hong Kong so far. Thus unlike Re Pillow which is made in Hong Kong, Re Bedding was made in Guang Dong. Although we planned to produce it in Hong Kong, if we want to keep the quality the same, the price of every sheet would add an extra of ~$100, which might turn people off, and this is not what we want as well. Of course we want to keep it to high quality (not judging the quality of Mainland), thus all material are from companies around the world, eg. material of Ultra Fine Collection is from Austria TENCEL(TM), zippers are from YKK Japan ect. We hope to provide you the best experience with the best price. This is just to clarify and avoid any misunderstandings as honesty is the foremost quality in Re Pillow Co.
Bottom frame update at the end of May 2025
We continuously improve our products. In 2025, all our new sheets will feature a concealed zipper design, which looks more elegant and streamlined than the previous ones with exposed white zippers. Even better, all our previous top sheets will be compatible with the new sheets; customers can simply replace the base frame to enjoy this more aesthetically pleasing design.
In June 2025, all our new sheet underlays will undergo their biggest update since launch, taking the new sheet underlays to the next level. Details are as follows (press on each point to enlarge):
#1 Change the position of the bedside pocket
The pockets, which were previously located on either side of the mattress (where the thighs are when a person is sleeping), have been moved closer to the head of the bed and reinforced with stitching techniques similar to those used for sewing shirt pockets. This eliminates the possibility of tripping over or getting caught on the pockets when getting into or out of bed.
#2 Twisting the rope end into a scratch-resistant soft rubber for the wall
Previously, the ropes at the bottom of the frame had metal ends. However, if the user was not careful during the installation of the frame, the metal ends might accidentally scratch the wall. Although this is a small detail, I wanted to improve it. Therefore, I have now replaced them with soft plastic rope ends, which will not scratch the wall or other parts of the home.
#3 Simply put the new long rope into the washing machine to wash.
The rope at the bottom of the frame is quite long (7-8 meters). Previously, when customers washed the frame in a high-speed washing machine, we found that the rope would sometimes get tangled or torn. This was undesirable, although the number of people affected was small. I wanted to improve the situation so that the rope would remain intact no matter how carelessly customers washed the frame. Therefore, I spent a considerable amount of time researching how to create a rope that, even at 8 meters long, wouldn't get tangled or torn in the washing machine. This new rope has been installed in the updated frame.
#4 Tighter Japanese NIFCO buckles
The bottom of the frame has also been fitted with brand new Japanese NIFCO rubber buckles, which make it easier to tighten the cables during installation and ensure they fit snugly against the mattress.
#5 New design with added waterproof layer
Small loops have been added to the four corners at the top of the bottom frame and the middle of both sides of the bed to fasten the latest waterproof and mite-proof mattress protector (waterproof layer). The waterproof layer is fixed between the mattress surface and the zippered mattress cover, so users can easily change the mattress cover, style, and material without sacrificing waterproof performance. Users can also remove the small loops to remove the waterproof layer for separate washing without raising the mattress.
#6 Added multiple color options
Multiple color options have been added, bringing the total to five, including the previous "classic gray," giving customers more choices.
#7 Add washing label
A washing label has been added, clearly listing the cleaning method for the bottom frame .

Waterproof and Mite-Proof layer
Since launching Re Bedding in 2023, we've received loads of requests regarding a waterproof version of Re Bedding. While waterproof bedding itself isn't a new thing, we don't want to randomly launch it and call it a day. We want it to meet our high standards. The new waterproof layer is both waterproof and mite-proof, 100% compatible with our original Re Bedding design so you can change Top Sheets as normal. We deliberately kept the ease of changing again, you can remove the layer for washing seperately - no heavy lifting. This is our new upgrade since 6/2025.
* It is fully compatible with our 2023 Base but we recommend pairing it up with our 2025 Base for best performance, which features specially designed loops to ensure the layer in place.
The waterproof layer is designed to fit your mattress perfectly, attaching securely to the loops on your Base.
It is placed between the mattress and your Top Sheet, adding an instant waterproof and anti-mite protection while allowing easy changing and cleaning - It can be removed and washed separately without moving your Base.
