Details of the Old Bed Sheet Collection Program
After you've put on Re Bedding, you might have some old ones lying around unused at home, or perhaps you've accumulated old, unused bed sheets over the years. Instead of letting them gather dust at home, why not donate them so they can be put to good use again – to keep the cats and dogs at the SAA (Society for Abandoned Animals) warm, as bedding, or for cleaning purposes.
Regardless of whether you have purchased our products before, we have now placed an "old linen collection bin" at our iSQUARE Tsim Sha Tsui store, collecting old bed sheets, duvet covers, and towels from everyone. As long as they are clean, we sincerely invite you to drop them off. It's completely free and no purchase is necessary. After we collect them, we will send your old linens to the SAA's shelter in Yuen Long for the abandoned and needy cats and dogs to use.

Why is there a used bed linen collection program?
One day in April 2025, I visited the SAA (Society for Abandoned Animals) in Yuen Long. I truly believe that as long as we are capable, regardless of wealth or position in society, we can all do meaningful things. If seven million people, each taking one extra step in their own roles – perhaps you'll call me naive – I believe the entire society will surely improve.
Similarly, when it comes to abandoned animals, not everyone owns a pet, or everyone might already know the principle of "adopt, don't shop." But beyond that, are there other things we can do? It's worth considering. Our winter fleece blanket brand, Re Fleece, has always donated a portion of its sales to SAA. But honestly, as a small company, you and I both know sales are limited. So, I started thinking, is there anything more we can do?
That's how I came up with the idea for this "Old Bedding Collection Project." It's a very straightforward plan – I'll place a collection bin in my Re Pillow iSQUARE store in Tsim Sha Tsui to help SAA collect supplies. When people come to shop, they might have some clean, usable old bedding at home that they can drop off for us to collect and hand over to the Society for Abandoned Animals. Because they have hundreds of cats and dogs to care for, clean fabric supplies are genuinely needed and deserve everyone's support. When buying "Re Bedding," everyone can also donate "old bedding," knowing that it will go to cats and dogs in need. That would be ideal.
And so, this project was born. After working out the implementation details, it will officially launch as a trial run at the Tsim Sha Tsui store in May 2025.

How to donate old sheets?
Customers can visit our Tsim Sha Tsui iSQUARE store (Shop 402, 4/F, iSQUARE, Tsim Sha Tsui) to drop off their unused old bedsheets and duvet covers in the collection bin, no purchase necessary. After collection, we will send them all to the Society for Abandoned Animals (SAA).
Are there any requirements for the old bedsheets being collected?
Yes. Since the sheets will be used by the cats and dogs at the association, please ensure they are washed and clean before donating. We hope everyone can lend a hand! Thank you all.
If the bed sheets and duvet covers have been stored in a wardrobe for a long time, please wash and dry them before donating. There are two reasons for this: firstly, old sheets stored in a wardrobe for a long time tend to accumulate dust; secondly, and more importantly, many people might keep mothballs in their wardrobes, and mothballs are *toxic* to animals, especially cats and dogs, and can cause poisoning. Therefore, I want to remind everyone that if sheets have been in a wardrobe for some time, it's better to wash them before donating.
It is perfectly understandable and acceptable if the sheets show normal signs of use or are relatively old. If they are truly too old to be used as bedding, the association might use them for other purposes, such as mopping or cleaning; they will certainly find a use.
We also sternly declare that we do not tolerate any malicious acts intended to harm cats and dogs, such as hiding nails or needles in the donated sheets. You do not have to support the initiative, but please respect life. After receiving the sheets, the association will inspect them before use. If anyone is found to have maliciously harmed cats and dogs, we will deal with the matter severely.
In addition to bedsheets, are you collecting other supplies?
First, thank you for your support of this project! In addition to old bedsheets, the Society for Abandoned Animals also needs to collect clean old duvet covers, old towels, and old pillowcases. If you have these items, please feel free to drop them into our "Used Bedsheet Collection Box" in Tsim Sha Tsui~ We will deliver them to the society for use by their cats and dogs.
The society appreciates everyone's kind intentions but does not collect the following items: padded bedding (any type of quilt), pillows, old T-shirts, sleeping bags, mattresses, carpets, and old pet beds.
Besides iSQUARE Tsim Sha Tsui, are there recycling bins at other branches?
As we don't yet know how the initiative will be received, we are currently only piloting it at iSQUARE in Tsim Sha Tsui (which has a larger space). If the response is positive in the future, we will add collection bins to other branches and will update this page accordingly.
