The new Re Pillow Co. x Dustykid® 2026 collaboration collection is now available

A few years ago, when the Re Bedding sheets were just launched and hadn't yet won any design awards, not many people believed in my idea of zipper-attached sheets. To be honest, I even received quite a few sneers, with people thinking the product couldn't possibly succeed. Perhaps it was also because I was just an ordinary person with no connections and no big company background. Therefore, at that time, when I tried to negotiate collaborations with different cartoon brands, hoping to incorporate cartoon crossovers into Re Bedding sheets, basically no company paid any attention to me.

It was during a period of considerable personal frustration that I decided to contact Dustykid®, a cartoon I deeply admire. I attached old photos of myself wearing Dustykid® T-shirts to the email, to express my sincere love for Dustykid®, and sent it off to the Dustykid® team. I didn't really expect a reply, but to my surprise, I received one the very same day. When no one else believed in me, Dustykid® believed in my "Re Bedding." They were delighted to be Re Pillow Co.'s first cartoon collaboration.

I've thought of different ways to introduce Dustykid®, and I've even considered doing what many companies do: writing a few simple sentences to describe the Dustykid® cartoon, then directly adding images of Dustykid® bedding. But Dustykid® is not an ordinary cartoon, so let me give you a brief introduction:

Dustykid®, literally meaning "dust" in Chinese, is a grey, expressive speck of dust, created by local artist "Dusty Dad" Rap Chan. Since 2013, "Dusty Dad" has posted a Dustykid® comic on Facebook every night, rain or shine. The content usually consists of heartwarming short stories, a few illustrations, accompanied by one or two comforting sentences.

Dustykid's charm lies in its refusal to blindly promote positivity. Instead, it teaches us to embrace ourselves – to embrace our flaws, accept our emotions, allow ourselves time to rest, and then to persevere and keep moving forward.

I am grateful for the trust placed in us by the DustyKid® team; I know it's not a given. Therefore, we have also done our utmost. Unlike the cheap materials generally used by other bedding companies when manufacturing cartoon bedding, we have used Re Pillow Co.'s brand-new, best Gen.2 all-cotton material, which is a new generation of densely woven 100% all-cotton. It is thicker and smoother than previous fine and everyday series, with a thread count of 1200TC per 10cm².

The Re Pillow Co. x DustyKid® collaboration bedsheets have the softness and comfortable breathability of pure cotton, and due to their dense weave design, they are smoother and more skin-friendly than ordinary cotton bedsheets on the market. More importantly, we have pre-shrunk the bedsheets in the DustyKid® collaboration series, making them thicker and allowing them to be washed and tumble-dried like ordinary clothes, making them easy to care for.

In 2024, our first batch of Re Pillow Co. x Dustykid® collaboration product series comes in three designs. Each design includes a new DustyKid® Top Sheet, paired with two cartoon pillowcases and one cartoon Re Cover.

In 2026, Re Pillow Co. once again launched a new collection of Dustykid® collaboration products, adding three new designs. Each set includes a new Re Bedding top sheet, pillowcases, and a new Re Cover duvet cover.

Allow me to introduce the three brand new Re Pillow Co. x Dustykid® 2026 collaboration series designs: Moon Cloud Dream, Beach Weekend, and Purple Stardust.

To introduce the three new Re Pillow Co. x Dustykid® collaboration series, I read some past interviews with Dustykid® author "Papa Dust" while writing this introduction. In an interview from 8 years ago, he said something that I found very insightful, which I'd like to quote here:

"I'm 33 years old now. Looking back at these 33 years, many people might think I'm successful, but before I founded this brand (Dustykid®), many people thought I was a failure. You can only truly determine whether life is a success or a failure when you reach the end of your life."

Perhaps it's due to my own sentimentality, but reading this moved me quite a bit. I share it with you, hoping it might bring you motivation at certain times. Whether or not you knew Dustykid® before today, I hope you will like this new collaboration between Re Pillow Co. x Dustykid®.
