If some nights are particularly cold, for example below 10 degrees, the Re Quilt Winter 2 can be layered with our other quilts for added warmth. With this winter quilt layering system, you won't need to buy an extra-warm quilt that you only use for a few days a year during the coldest periods, reducing waste and saving space at home.

Furthermore, by not creating a single "extra-thick quilt," this system allows for free mixing and matching of quilts of different thicknesses, and even stacking several quilts to be used together in the same duvet cover. This means you can create combinations suited to different temperatures, ensuring comfortable sleep at the perfect temperature all year round.

Seeing the overwhelming variety of winter quilts on the market, I really wanted to simplify things. Life is already full of various troubles, and everyone has limited time. Therefore, I wanted to create a winter quilt genuinely designed for Hong Kong's winter climate: high-quality, comfortable, and perfectly suited for Hong Kong's winter. This way, when winter arrives, you won't have to bother wondering which winter quilt is warm enough; simply buy a Re Quilt Winter 2.

There's also a personal reason: I am also an ordinary Hong Konger. The Hong Kong market is too small, and big brands rarely design products specifically for the Hong Kong market that meet local needs. Through Re Pillow Co., I also hope to create truly suitable products for Hong Kong.

The Re Quilt Winter 2 is designed for most winter nights in Hong Kong where the temperature is around 15 degrees Celsius. It's perfectly suitable and warm enough for Hong Kong winters, yet not too thick or stuffy. However, on some days, if the temperature drops below 10 degrees Celsius, the duvet might not be warm enough. This is because I didn't want this winter duvet to be useful for only a few days out of the entire year. On particularly cold days, users can add extra layers of clothing or layer it with our other duvets for added warmth.

Each Re Quilt Winter 2 comes with a non-woven zippered bag. When you receive your quilt, you will find it inside this bag. When the seasons change and it gets warmer, you can use this zippered bag to cover your winter quilt before storing it in the closet, preventing it from getting dusty. You can then take it out again for use next winter.

During the design process, the goal was to compete with winter duvets around HK$3000, with an intended price of HK$1080 for a single and HK$1280 for a double. The aim was to offer a more reasonable price while outperforming products that cost several times more, similar to the Re Pillow. However, with colder weather approaching, we want more people to experience our new product, so we are offering it at an even better price. Therefore, if you're interested, now is the time.

A special note: If you prefer a harder and heavier winter duvet, the Re Quilt Winter 2 is not for you. The Re Quilt Winter 2 is a lightweight and soft winter duvet. It won't feel so light that it lacks substance, but it is definitely on the lighter and softer side, not a thick and heavy comforter. If you want a heavy and hard winter duvet, the Re Quilt Winter 2 will not be suitable.
