Photo: One night (It wasn't actually that late) , everyone in the company had left, and I was the only one who forgot to turn on the light. But the light switch was too far away, and it was too dark to type. So I went online to see how to turn on the keyboard backlight. It can be colored. I've had it for so long but never used this "light-on function"...

Welcome to this week's journal! I visited the shop this week and encountered a rather unique customer situation that I'd like to share. This customer (the auntie) was recommended by a friend and had been eyeing the Re Pillow 3 for a while, understanding its features and knowing she needed one. However, during our conversation, I sensed she was constantly trying to raise questions. I felt she was internally thinking, "It can't be that good; there must be some problems. Let me see how I ask, I'll definitely leave you speechless." But to me, I don't think she meant any harm. I sensed a kind of inner pain within her; behind her questioning, doubt, and worry stemmed from a desire to protect herself. She seemed to have some doubts about the product, but I think she wasn't really trying to challenge me. If she had no interest in the product, she wouldn't have bothered coming all the way to the shop in Tsim Sha Tsui. She simply had some kind of pain in her heart. Her words seemed confrontational, but these are the people who need help the most. Perhaps she's bought far too many pillows in the past, and therefore lost faith in all the big brands and companies selling pillows. So, to protect herself, she needed to ask more detailed questions. So, during my conversation with this auntie, although her tone was a bit impolite, I was very honest and tried my best to understand her concerns and answer her questions one by one. Although she only said "I'll think about it" and turned to leave in the end, I felt she would come back. After all, during the conversation, I felt her attitude softened.

On a side note, if you come to our shop, please relax. Just chat like you're with friends. Seriously, feel free to relax and have a normal conversation with our colleagues. There's no need to be shy or feel awkward, and certainly no need to feel like we're on opposing sides. Yes, we may not be perfect, but I believe every colleague in the company genuinely wants the best for every customer. Running a shop is certainly about doing business, but letting you try our products and chat with our colleagues is also genuine. After all, to some extent, we hope to improve your lives, free you from sleep problems, allow you to rest comfortably, and focus on your work and efforts during the day. That's already quite good.
