I've been debating for a long time whether I should write this down, because it seems a bit personal, and I'm afraid it might have a negative impact. But a weekly journal is supposed to be an honest and frank record, and I don't want it to become like a chatterbox, so I've decided to write it anyway. Recently, I've started encountering some management issues at the company. Different people have different strengths and weaknesses, and sometimes when a colleague isn't performing well enough, I'm really troubled about how to solve the problem. Of course, some people would say, remind them a few times, and if they don't improve, just fire them. But sometimes I think, of course, I hope it doesn't have to come to that. I believe that all my colleagues genuinely want what's best for the company and our customers. I also don't believe that anyone would intentionally do a bad job to create negative problems for the company to worry about or figure out how to solve. I genuinely think that all my colleagues are kind people, but I do have some concerns about what to do if their performance is not ideal.

However, as with other problems I've encountered before, many times things will resolve themselves if you take it slow and walk along. If you're too eager to come up with a solution immediately, you might not actually solve it.
