Why did you choose to collaborate with Disney?
Let's rewind to a morning in April of this year (2025). I went to work as usual, Mondays are usually particularly busy because there are weekend orders to process first, and I usually finish them in the afternoon. This seemingly ordinary morning, I had no idea, was going to be a special one...
Around noon that day, I suddenly received a new email titled: "Business Collaboration with Re Pillow." This single email rewrote my product plans for the next six months...

Disney actually contacted me?!
I was both surprised and delighted... Surprised, because I could hardly believe my eyes. After all, it was Disney, and I knew I was still a very small bedding brand. How could a company as big as Disney have noticed me? But after reading the article more closely, it did seem quite true. Delighted, because I couldn't hide my excitement.
After replying to emails, we met at each other's companies to discuss our plans. At the same time, we started to imagine all sorts of new products: the Disney x Re Pillow Co. new bed sheet series! We can also launch new styles of bed sheets for our customers to choose from. And I believe that with the collaboration with Disney, I hope more customers will be willing to give me the opportunity to try our new bed sheets.
As my first collaboration with Disney, I chose Winnie the Pooh, a classic character whose 100th anniversary is coming up next year (2026).

#1 Balloon Adventure
When designing this collaborative bedding collection, my first thought was that I wanted the designs to have a more "mature" style—let me explain.
Winnie the Pooh® has many products, but in terms of illustration style, many of Winnie the Pooh's illustrations are quite suitable for children: extremely bright colors, cartoonish style, high-contrast lines... Of course, this style of Winnie the Pooh is not bad, but this time, I hope the style will be more mature.
The first design is based on the Hundred Acre Wood, the setting of the Winnie the Pooh stories, and is named "Balloon Adventure".
In terms of design, the "Balloon Adventure" bed sheet is inspired by the original fairy tale illustrations, transforming the classic Winnie the Pooh world into a dreamlike journey:
Winnie the Pooh soars through the blue sky with a red balloon in hand, Piglet and Io frolic and chase each other on the grass, Tigger sits lazily taking a nap, and everyone else is enjoying an afternoon rest in the Hundred Acre Wood... Other elements are lightly touched with soft watercolors, creating the innocent joy of the Hundred Acre Wood while maintaining a simple and relaxing space. From afar, it appears as simple as a fairytale cover page, but upon closer inspection, one discovers a wealth of delicate surprises—the light floating of the balloons, the warmth of the sunlight, and the countless subtle interactions between the children.
This bed sheet features a carefully selected light gray-white base that shimmers in the sunlight like the freshness of dawn, complementing Winnie the Pooh's golden plush and the vibrancy of the red balloon. At night, the soft light from the bedside lamp transforms into a warm, milky white, enveloping you in a slowly ascending dream of adventure. It accentuates Winnie the Pooh's pure world, making you feel more relaxed and imaginative, lightly accompanying you to a carefree paradise of sleep.
Two matching floral pillowcases are also included with this bed sheet, making it a complete and more comfortable and attractive set.
As for the duvet cover, this Winnie the Pooh duvet cover also uses our " Re Cover " double-sided opening design for easy replacement. In terms of style, it is the same as the back of the sheets and pillowcases, with the same floral pattern on both sides of the duvet cover, matching the sheets and pillowcases.

#2 Sweet Dreams Among Flowers
The second Winnie the Pooh® bedding set is themed "Sweet Dreams Among Flowers," with a mint green theme.
In this "Sweet Dream in the Flowers" collection, Winnie the Pooh transforms into a little sprite among the blossoms: sometimes rolling freely among the yellow flowers, sometimes lying on his side listening to the whispers of the leaves, his red clothes slightly upturned, capturing a playful ray of sunlight. These patterns are understated, merely sketched lightly, scattered into impromptu illustrations, allowing the entire space to breathe in the freshness and tranquility of the forest—no noise, only that comforting sea of flowers, inviting you to steal a moment of peace and enjoy a tranquil time.
The mint green base color is a clever design touch—it's cool and refreshing like mint ice cream, gently complementing Winnie the Pooh's golden hue and the vibrancy of the flowers at all times. It instantly brightens the room, transforming into a thin layer of greenery to embrace and soothe your weariness, leading you into a long, sweet dream filled with the fragrance of flowers and the warm whispers of a teddy bear. And at night, it gently envelops your fatigue, guiding you into a long, sweet dream.
This time, the Winnie the Pooh® Floral Dream duvet cover features a gradient design on the front for the first time. Although it's a subtle gradient, the attention to detail is noticeable from a distance. The back of the duvet cover features the same floral planet design as the bed sheet.
This floral print features all the planets visited by the Little Prince, creating a magnificent starry sky scene.
The pillowcase also features a double-sided design: one side depicts the Little Prince standing on his planet gazing at the stars, while the other side features the same floral pattern as the bed sheet.
Similarly, it's essential to incorporate easy-to-remove and replace new bed sheets .
The cartoon duvet cover also features a new double-opening design, with the same floral pattern on the back as the bed sheet, depicting various planets and the Little Prince.

All bedding in the Re Pillow Co. x Winnie the Pooh® collaboration is made with our Gen. 2 cotton fabric, which is 100% cotton . The Little Prince sheets have the softness, comfort, and breathability of pure cotton, and because of the dense weave design, they are smoother and more skin-friendly than ordinary cotton bedding.
More importantly, we have pre-shrunk all our bedding, including sheets, blankets, and quilts, making them thicker and more durable. They can also be washed in a washing machine or dryer just like regular clothes , making them easy to handle.
If this is your first time purchasing the Re Bedding new bed sheet collection, you can refer to the image below to see if it is compatible with your mattress. The following sizes allow for a 2-3CM error. For example, if your mattress is 122x183CM, you can choose 120x183CM.
Conclusion
The Winnie the Pooh collaboration is the largest collaboration we've ever done, and it also marks a new chapter for our new bed sheets. I remember two years ago, when the new bed sheets were only available in solid colors, customers said that while our bed sheets were practical, they were too monotonous. So I kept trying to reach out to different cartoons, hoping to achieve a collaboration. I sent out dozens of emails, including those from local Hong Kong cartoons as well as other Japanese and foreign cartoons, but very few replied. Most didn't reply at all, and the few that did were very formulaic, saying they would be handed over to the "relevant department" for review, and ultimately, no reply was given.
I know that all success involves a process of constantly being hit and then getting back up; it's an inevitable stage. Therefore, I continued working on a clean-cut project for a whole year, while simultaneously searching for collaborative animation projects. I wonder if everyone will like Winnie the Pooh this time, because if it's popular, I hope to continue working on more Disney collaborations.

If you want the new sheets to be waterproof, you can also add a waterproof layer between the mattress and the sheet, which will then be attached to the base frame to work with the new sheets. If you already have one, you don't need to buy this again.
