Thank you StartChing for the interview. This is the first time I've talked about how I, a recent graduate, will be working full-time at Re Pillow Co.

In previous interviews, I was still a student and uncertain about my future after graduation. I would usually tell reporters that I hoped they would leave out the details regarding the future of Re Pillow Co., because I myself didn't have a definite answer.

But this visit gave me the answer.

When I founded Re Pillow Co., I didn't have any grand ambitions, because it was never a "business plan" (and still isn't). Re Pillow Co. was a personal project to research pillows, a "passion project." I never imagined it would change my future career path. In fact, even before I graduated, a law firm had already hired me as a trainee solicitor, securing a post-graduation employment contract. While witnessing this passion project grow, I've also gradually realized over the past six months that balancing the two is unlikely. I understand my own abilities well; having a full-time job while also pursuing a pillow side business is extremely difficult, and there's a high probability I'll do neither well, forcing me to choose one.

In the end, I chose the pillow.

I don't know if this is the right decision. But I really want to say that I know that if Hong Kong loses one lawyer like me, it won't really have any impact on society as a whole. It's like the saying, "One more or one less won't make a difference." But as a lawyer, I know very well that I'm nothing in the industry, but I feel that I'm actually making a small difference in this field. I've also received a lot of positive feedback and support from clients, which makes me feel that I shouldn't give up. I'm definitely not great; I'm a businessman with an income. But this matter makes me feel that I'm helping people in society while working, so I might be reluctant to just let it go.

Therefore, I chose a pillow.
