Have you ever tried changing your bed sheets? Every time you do it, it's like a battle – struggling to lift the heavy mattress, squeezing your hands into narrow gaps against the wall – it's incredibly silly! Sometimes you're even drenched in sweat afterward… Living in the same city, I wanted to create innovative products to make everyone's lives a little easier. So, in 2021, I started researching easy-to-change bed sheets, and three years ago I launched the Re Bedding bed sheet, featuring an easy-to-remove zipper design, making changing sheets as simple as zipping up a zipper. This zipper bed sheet design won the 2025 Hong Kong Smart Design Awards. Thank you for your support.
However, work must keep moving forward. Since launching the new bed sheets, we've made numerous improvements and updates, refining everything from the design and materials of the bottom frame to the materials, stitching, and sewing methods of the bed surface over a dozen times. For example, we changed the bottom frame material to one that is more scratch-resistant and reduces dust accumulation, and reinforced the four edges of the bed surface with double stitching. Anyone can hype up a product and seek short-term profits, but I believe that only continuous improvement can truly make a good product and is the only way to achieve long-term success.
Today, in 2026, new bed linens turn a new page as we launch the second generation of our new "ULTRA FINE COLLECTION" using A-Fontane Modern Silk® ultra-fine fabric!
I understand that some people might be confused at this point... Wait! Avenant is a bedding brand, and Re Pillow Co. is also a bedding brand. What's going on here...? I understand, I understand, let me explain:
Why does Re Pillow Co. use A-Fontane's Modern Silk® in its new bedsheets?
#1 Origin
The need for the Ultimate Smoothness series
Back in mid-last year (2025), I was thinking, Re Bedding's easy-change design has already solved the difficulty of changing bed sheets, but could we offer more options for bed linen fabric textures? Our current Gen.2 tightly woven cotton series is indeed, as many customers have said, better than most cotton sheets on the market (this is because my family has been in the bedding business since my grandfather's time, though we are a small business).
However, while this tightly woven cotton is actually the best choice for the vast majority of people because it can be casually tossed into both washing machines and dryers, offering the soft, comfortable, and breathable qualities of 100% cotton with a smooth yet thick and durable feel... Nevertheless, different people do have different preferences for bedding materials. One thing I know is that some customers seek extreme smoothness. If we want new bed sheets to appeal to more people, launching a new ultra-smooth top sheet is a necessity. However, technically speaking, since we are still a relatively small operation, achieving extreme smoothness and doing it well remains a challenge.
Modern Silk by Avenue Cotton
At the same time, in mid-2025, A-Fontane will supply us with their flagship ultra-fine More than Silk™ fabric for our ULTRA FINE (Gen.2) bedding collection. A-Fontane's role as a fabric provider allows us to use their More than Silk™ fabric to create products, further enhancing the comfort of new bed linens through More than Silk™. More than Silk™ is not only ultra-fine but also naturally cool (with a QMAX value of 0.34), twice as cool as standard cool-touch fabrics. It is especially suitable for summer, elevating sleep to the next level.
They hit it off immediately
For me, this was the perfect opportunity. A-Fontane's exclusive More than Silk™ series, especially its premium 60S 1600 thread count range, perfectly complemented the gap in Re Bedding's ultra-smooth collection, transforming our products from merely "convenient" to also "ultra-comfortable." The exquisitely smooth texture of this series is well-known in the industry. Through this opportunity, our customers can enjoy its silky smoothness while also experiencing the convenience of changing new bedsheets.
This is how Re Pillow Co. launched the ULTRA FINE silky smooth bedding collection (Gen.2), utilizing fabrics from A-Fontane's More than Silk® 60S series.
#2 Style Overview
The ULTRA FINE Silky Collection (Gen. 2), made from modal, will feature two solid colors: Azure and Charcoal. These two colors have been highly requested by our customers but were not yet available. With this new modal collection, we have fulfilled that request, making our new bed linen collection even more complete in terms of color options. In April 2026, due to the immense popularity of the modal collection, we will be adding two new colors: Pine and Snow. All styles can be paired with matching, easy-to-change duvet covers.
Azure
The azure blue sheets, paired with the smooth Tencel fabric from Modern Silk Austria, are soft and comfortable to the touch, creating a tranquil, ocean-like atmosphere. They complement white or light wood furniture and modern home décor perfectly, offering peace and comfort so you can drift off to sleep every night.
The bed sheet reflects different shades of blue under different lighting angles, and the extremely smooth fabric can be felt even through pictures.
Similarly, the design of easy-to-remove and easy-to-change bed sheets is essential. Changing the sheets is as simple as pulling the zipper, making it easy, convenient, quick, and effortless.
When used with the bottom frame, there's finally a proper place to store small items by the bedside.
Dark gray Charcoal
The second bedding item in the Modern Silk collection features a deep Charcoal shade, a color many customers requested. The deep gray tone, as calming as a starry night sky, offers a subtly luxurious visual experience. Gray symbolizes stability and elegance, creating a tranquil atmosphere that helps you relax and fall asleep. It pairs well with wooden furniture to create a modern, minimalist bedroom space.
The same easy-to-remove and easy-to-change bed sheet design is used. Each time you change the bed sheet, it's as simple as pulling the zipper, easy, convenient, quick and effortless.
As an added bonus, all products in the Gen. 2 Smooth Collection feature a very special care label that simultaneously displays both the Re Pillow Co. and More than Silk™ by afontane® logos. This is extremely rare in any industry, allowing users to clearly identify the special fabric supplier, making it very collectible.
Songling Pine
The third bedding collection in the Modern Silk series features Pine green. The gentle and serene Pine green evokes a forest morning mist, offering a fresh and therapeutic visual experience. Green symbolizes peace and new beginnings, creating a soothing atmosphere that helps you relax deeply and fall asleep. It pairs well with wooden furniture, creating a natural, wood-inspired bedroom space.
Snow White
The pure white hue is as clean and bright as fresh winter snow, bringing a refreshing and light visual experience. White symbolizes purity and peace, creating a bright and comfortable atmosphere that helps you easily drift into deep sleep. It is suitable for pairing with various furniture and soft furnishings, adding a timelessly elegant and fresh, transparent touch to your bedroom.

All bedding in the Gen. 2 line is made with Avon Modern Silk® 60S 1600 thread, which is not only as smooth as silk, but also has finer fibers and more moisture than real silk.
Made with Austrian TENCEL™ fibers, blended in a specific ratio of Lyocell and Modal fibers, it feels smoother than our other material, Gen. 2 Cotton.
Compared to regular TENCEL™ bedding, including our previously released "Gen. 1" line, Modern Silk feels softer and smoother, a feature truly unique in the industry. Imagine, in Hong Kong's humid and hot weather, the sheets are not only breathable and moisture-wicking, but also super quick-drying, wrinkle-resistant, and non-sticky, making you feel like you're enveloped in a cloud while you sleep!

Conclusion
For me, the launch of this Smooth Series (Gen. 2) holds significant meaning. Some might think of "competitors as enemies," questioning why collaborate with others. However, I sometimes feel that just as different people have their own strengths, different companies also possess their unique technologies and strengths. If we take a step back, the essence of why I initially started making products was because I wanted to create products that could solve life's problems. The origin of Re Pillow was my dissatisfaction with my own pillow; I bought many pillows on the market, but none were suitable, so I decided to research and create a truly good pillow, designed from the user's perspective. That's Re Pillow.
Similarly, the origin of my design for this "Re Bedding new bedsheet" was my feeling that current bedsheets are simply too inconvenient to change. You can call me lazy, but I truly find the method of changing bedsheets troublesome and unintelligent. I hope to revolutionize this, making bedsheet changes simpler. Ultimately, I hope this can benefit more people.

How to buy new bed sheets
- If this is your first time buying new sheets, in addition to selecting the "Smooth (Gen.2) Sheet with Two Pillowcases " option, please add a base frame that matches your mattress size to your cart (a 2-3cm error is acceptable; for example, if your mattress is 122x183cm, select 120x183cm). If you want the new sheets to be waterproof, you can add a waterproof layer between the mattress and the sheet, which will then be attached to the base frame to work with the new sheets. If you already have one, you don't need to buy another one.
- After adding the Gen.2 (Graceful) series bedding to your cart, you can also go to the Re Bedding page to add other bedding styles or other collaboration series for replacement.
