I put my heart and soul into it, to make us the best bedding brand in the world.

Supporting Your Craziest Dream.

It's Sunday midnight again, time for weekly journal updates. What did I do this week? Let 's take a look:

Learning car cover

As many of you may know, Re Pillow originated from a small personal passion project. I would borrow a relative's office space on weekends to make pillows for myself. But to my shame, whenever it came to sewing, I always needed help. I could handle the pillow-making process myself, but sewing was a real challenge. Recently, I've been spending more time on new products and creating many prototypes, so I started learning sewing from my aunt who does sewing. This way, I don't have to bother her all the time. Although I'm not a pro, it's a step forward. Sewing is a complex skill with many aspects, and it's not easy to master; it requires time, experience, and practice. There probably aren't many people my age who know how to sew, but it's actually quite fun.

Design new mini and Re Quilt 2 packaging boxes

Since the middle of last year, I set a goal for myself: I hope to gradually make Re Pillow Co. 's packaging more environmentally friendly. This means using more eco-friendly and recyclable materials, and brainstorming smarter solutions to problems. Over the past year, we've gradually phased out the large, plastic-coated blue and white boxes, replacing them with smaller, recyclable, sturdier brown cardboard boxes. For details on our environmental policy, please see: repillow.co/environment The last batch will still use the old design, the blue and white boxes, which will be the mini pillow boxes. These will also be used up next month, so we're designing new mini boxes this week. (Drawn:)

In addition, I also drew the box for Re Quilt 2 and designed a picture (of course, the picture posted in this weekly journal that only 10 people see every week is not finalized yet, I just want to make it to feel the feeling ). Next week, I will also make this box design into a physical product.

The hexagonal box design is for environmental reasons. Each quilt is rolled into a cylinder and packaged in a hexagonal box, which allows more quilts to be loaded onto a truck, providing a more compact surface. It also avoids the bulkiness of a cylindrical box and is easier to dispose of. The pull-out design uses cardboard for the pull-out, eliminating the need for glue. This is a nice touch, as the pull-out is fully recyclable and doesn't need to be disassembled. Alternatively, customers can simply forget to disassemble it before recycling, requiring the recycling center workers to unpack it.

I spent a lot of time trying to make everything better than yesterday.

On a side note, my mother told me a while ago that she had been reading my weekly journal. I was really touched when I found out, because I'm not good at expressing myself. I usually face my happiness and unhappiness alone.

Living alone sometimes brings a lot of stress, depression, and worry, which I don't really talk about with anyone. So knowing this actually made me realize I'm not alone, and I was really touched. Thank you.

Sometimes I don't know why, but I feel that all the difficulties I'm facing will pass, that it's just one phase, and that looking back, it's all just training, preparing me to overcome even bigger challenges in the future. Besides, compared to what many predecessors have faced, what I'm facing now is nothing.

If you're facing some difficulties while reading this journal entry, I know it sounds old-fashioned, but you'll get through it. Just do what you think is right, and I'll be here with you to help you.

New products, patent applications, and international expansion

This week I've also been processing some patent applications for products launching at the end of the year. One thing I learned this year is that products need to be prepared 9 months to 1 year in advance. If you're too busy with your regular work, you won't be able to keep up; there's a huge gap between product development and actual production . I've really learned a lot this year, including how far in advance to plan products , how to trade with foreign companies, how to arrange containers, notary office inspections, and bank payments, etc. A foundation year for me.

Finally, it's been a year since graduation, a year of full-time work at Re Pillow Co., and my weekly journal is almost up to #052. Now I'm slowly seeing myself building a solid foundation, ready to set off for the world. Representing Hong Kong, doing my best, is something we're all proud of.
