(The Re Pillow 3 Pro Add-On box has a simple design and costs a few dollars more, allowing you to open it to reveal a small box. I think my design is pretty good.)
Welcome to this week's journal! It's my turn to tell you about the various things that happened this week. First and foremost, of course, is the brand new Re Pillow 3! I've been talking about it in my journals for over a year, and it's finally here. The timing wasn't ideal, because the Re Quilt 2 was launched about a month ago. We shouldn't have placed the two products so close together, as the former didn't get enough time to be promoted (even though we put a lot of effort into it). But the new product overshadowed it. I've learned my lesson this time, and I won't make the same mistake again, since I'm always learning as I go.
Youth is about accumulating experience to pave the way for the future.
That's one of the advantages of being young. Especially when you have time, you should try more things and work hard instead of taking it slow. It's not about the money, but about learning from failures early on so that you can have a smoother path in the future. I hope this advice is helpful to those younger than me, because I always feel that around 18 to 22 years old is truly the golden age for starting a business. You're probably more mature and can make independent decisions, and you're just beginning to enter the workforce without much financial pressure. So, work hard during this time and don't stop! Don't be too obsessed with money (because you'll have to worry about it for many years to come). Just do what you want to try, make mistakes, and learn from them.
New product introduction will not be included here.
I won't go into the details of the new pillow here, because I've already written an introduction, which you can all see there. And more importantly, there's no need to do anything so commercial here! To be honest, although I put a lot of effort into it, this journal entry is about things other than business, like a little conversation between you and me, not about selling products!
A busy week
Last Sunday, I just got back to Hong Kong and have been working non-stop ever since. There's so much to catch up on since I'm back. Although I had almost finished all my RP3 work when I left two or three weeks ago (the goods were already prepared and packaged), there were still things to do, such as arranging for the goods to be delivered to various stores, taking product photos, and creating a website, updating the website's inventory system, etc. Luckily, my friend/colleague Ben helped a lot, making things much easier for me. I unfortunately caught a cold this week and ended up with a cough, runny nose, and headache, which was quite physically demanding. But I managed to get through it. Honestly, everyone works hard. What job is truly hard? Sometimes I see construction workers on the street working in the sun and rain, and it's all physical labor, which is actually quite tough. So I'm already very fortunate.
Cycling and Science Park

This Saturday (yesterday), I went cycling in Sha Tin. This week has been incredibly busy and stressful at work, so I wanted to relax. I passed by the Science Park and stopped in to buy a drink because it was so hot, and many sections of the route lacked shade. Yesterday's weather was extremely hot, and the sun was blazing (no wonder there weren't many cyclists on the road, even though it's a popular cycling route; probably everyone was in shopping malls or staying home). When I entered the Science Park to buy a drink, I saw they had set up a "Happy Hong Kong" technology market, employing many young men and women part-time to look at the stalls, explaining the work at the Hong Kong Science Park, and the various funded startups, etc... They were so overstaffed that many of these part-time young people (wearing Science Park t-shirts) were basically just standing there making phone calls or chatting in small groups... Suddenly I felt that they were indeed from two different worlds.

There are many things I can't afford to hire anyone to do, so I have to do them all myself. The company is also saving on air conditioning. I'm often troubled by the company's financial situation, and the ups and downs sometimes put a lot of pressure on me. I guess you can feel that from reading my weekly journal entries over the past six months. But I chose this path myself, so I'll keep going. I believe that after going through trials, I can go further.
