Welcome to this week's journal. The significance of a journal isn't its length, but rather the importance of consistently doing something. For me, it's also a time to quiet down and reflect throughout the week. I once read a quote, I think it was from a famous person's autobiography, but I've completely forgotten it. The gist of it was: people often overestimate what they can accomplish in a year and underestimate what they can accomplish in five years.
This means that most people are slow to make a firm decision to do something, believing they can achieve a lot in a short period, undergo a complete transformation, change everything, and achieve success. However, the reality is that these changes require long-term effort and painstaking management; the results aren't immediately visible. If you persist long enough, you will achieve results. Of course, most people can't persist until that day; if they haven't seen results after a year, they give up long ago.
Therefore, I hope I can persevere, whether it's writing this weekly journal that no one reads or continuing to pursue this "very adventurous dream," as long as time is long enough, even water dripping on stone can wear it down.
This week, I had dinner with my colleagues at work. We shared some interesting stories from our jobs, which made me feel fortunate to have such helpful colleagues. Otherwise, I would have had a hard time handling everything on my own. I also felt that my colleagues are really great and have done a lot of things that are "not basic," which is truly rare.
We restocked bed sheets this week ( on the evening of April 29th ), but there were errors in our budgeting of sizes, quantities, and colors. This resulted in some sizes selling out quickly, while other sizes remained in large quantities. This situation is obviously undesirable, as it forces customers to wait and impacts the company's cash flow. I will try to improve in the future.
In addition, new products will be added to the new bed line within the next month, but we'll keep that a secret for now. You'll find out then.
I'm really tired this week, so I'll stop writing here.
