Welcome to this week's journal! The first thing this week is that I've been filming more videos explaining products and work over the past week or two. You can find the videos at https://facebook.com/repillowco or https://Instagram.com/repillowco ! The reason is that I've always wanted to share more about my work and explain more about the products, but I've always been unable to do so due to time constraints. Recently, I discovered a software that can automatically recognize Cantonese and generate subtitles using AI , which is very useful. Of course, it doesn't completely avoid misreading words, but at least I don't have to type it out word by word, saving a lot of time. Therefore, I can make more videos (of course, this requires me to be less busy with work). If you're interested, I might even film more "outdoor" scenes related to work later, not just talking to myself in front of the camera. But that's still a matter for later; I'll decide based on everyone's reaction.

Because time is limited, I have to decide how to allocate it. Spending more time on filming means less time for other things (product development, production schedule calculations, material procurement, long-term planning, etc.). I need to make the best decisions for Re Pillow Co .; it's my responsibility. Having seen too many small and medium-sized enterprises rise quickly only to fall slowly, I hope Re Pillow Co. can do better and not die so soon.

The next stage of development for new bed sheets

Speaking of not wanting the company to decline quickly, I have to mention the new bed sheets. I suggest that if you've read this far (or haven't), you should watch last week's journal entry, specifically the video I filmed explaining why the new bed sheets are so important to us. Therefore, I'll be working hard to develop this product, not only for the company's operation, but more importantly because I believe it's the right thing to do, and this product can truly help many people. Now, we need to gradually develop it into a more complete product. When we started making the new bed sheets, we made 4 sizes and 6 colors; soon, it will be 9 sizes and 15 colors. I'll keep the details a secret for now. But with only solid colors left, one material isn't enough; I want to gradually develop it into one of the mainstream options. In addition, we updated the base last week , making it even better. For details, you can check the menu at the very top of the website . There's a "News " section there, where a video released a few days ago explains the new features and improvements in this "new version" of the base . I've put a lot of effort into this; it's probably the most dedicated thing I've ever done, even more so than studying or taking exams. I just hope it can truly bring new choices to Hong Kong's home furnishing market.

Re Pillow Co. goes a step further

The details in the following section will be fully disclosed here, but we will be making some new attempts. Since I can't go into the details of this matter, I'll talk about other people's experiences, which are also related to "new attempts." I greatly admire Ricky Wong, Lei Jun, and Elon Musk . After achieving a certain level of success in their careers, they had earned enough money to live comfortably for the rest of their lives. However, they decided to reinvest their money and gamble again, resulting in companies like HKTV Mall , Xiaomi, Tesla , and SpaceX that we see today . Whether this was unwise in their life planning is something we cannot decide for them, but it is undeniable that by taking out their personal assets, which they could use for the rest of their lives, to gamble, they made a significant contribution to the world. Of course, not everyone will succeed; many others who reinvested their money failed, and we don't know who they are. But I admire and agree with their courage to "not give up" and "give it their all." Life is finite, and I am just an ordinary person, but if I can give it my all and try my best, like the three seniors I admire mentioned above, I think it's worth it no matter the outcome. That's why I'm writing this weekly journal that no one will read, to record and share the process so that others can learn from it if they fail.

That's all for this week! Thank you for reading.
