Recently, due to some personal matters, I was on leave this week. Because of this, some of my work had to be delegated to other colleagues. It was another opportunity to test whether my colleagues could handle things independently and whether the company could function without me. Actually, many clients often tell me that I need to gradually learn to delegate, to hand things over to colleagues, so that I can make higher-level decisions. But all along, it's been "easier said than done"... However, this time, because I couldn't be there and wasn't in the office, I had to try. This week went relatively smoothly so far, except for some internal restructuring issues that caused some production delays, and some deals that I couldn't negotiate with others at the moment. These were all somewhat anticipated. Therefore, I could say that the "experiment was successful."
