Corocoro Coronya® Bread Cat Collaboration Series
Over the past two years, one of the most frequent requests from customers has been for a wider variety of designs, particularly cartoon bed sheets, to make Re Bedding's new sheets less monotonous.
Following the release of Dustykid® character bedding, May 2025 sees the official launch of the second character bedding collaboration for our Re Bedding – Corocoro Coronya® from Japan, also known as "Rolling Bread Cat" in Chinese.
Corocoro Coronya® Introduction
Pan-neko is a cat that lives in a bakery on a street corner in Japan. One day, her cat friends came to play with her, but she was very shy and wanted to find a place to hide. In a panic, Pan-neko ran to a pile of burnt bread in a corner of the bakery and found a spiral bun. She discovered that she could fit inside it perfectly?! From then on, whenever Pan-neko was shy, she would hide inside a bun or use a bun to conceal herself, hoping that others (cats) would not find her. This is how the name "Spiral Bun Cat" came to be!
Shy Bread Cats also have different hiding modes, trying to avoid being discovered by other people (cats) in the bakery!

For the Corocoro Coronya® collaboration series, we've used our best new Gen.2 100% cotton collection, a new generation of high-density 100% cotton that is thicker and smoother than previous Re Bedding's Silky and Daily collections, with a thread count of 1200TC per 10cm².
Corocoro Coronya® bed linens have the softness and breathable comfort of pure cotton, and their tightly woven design makes them smoother and more skin-friendly than typical cotton sheets. What's more, our Coronya® bed linens have been pre-shrunk, making them thicker and allowing them to be conveniently machine-washed and tumble-dried just like regular clothes.

Corocoro Coronya® Cat Bakery Cartoon Duvet Cover Set
The first Corocoro Coronya® cartoon bedding set features the adorable and versatile bread cat, with a "Cat Bakery" theme, showcasing Coronya's most classic look. This cartoon bedding set is predominantly light beige, complementing Coronya's own colors and the colors of the bread. The top sheet is designed with a floral pattern, featuring various poses of Corocoro Coronya and friends, making the bedding pattern very cute.
The cartoon pillowcase has a double-sided design, with a small image of the Curly Bread Cat on one side and a floral pattern on the other.
Regarding the duvet cover, this Bread Cat cartoon duvet cover also features our "Re Cover Re Cover" double-opening design for easy removal and replacement. As for the design, in the center is the classic Bread Cat peeking out from a rolled bread, a super cute cartoon duvet cover design!
The cartoon duvet cover features a new double-opening duvet cover design, with a coordinating solid color on the back.
Of course, the SAN-X® Bread Cat bedding also features an easy-to-remove and replace Re Bedding design.
Corocoro Coronya® Summer Ice Cream Shop Cartoon Bedding Set
The second Corocoro Coronya cartoon bedding set, themed "Bread Cat at the Ice Cream Shop," features a light blue color. The light blue bedsheets and pillowcases create a refreshing summer atmosphere in the room. The bedspread has a floral design, featuring Roll Bread Cat and friends in various poses at an ice cream shop.
The cartoon pillowcase has a double-sided design, with a small Breadcat corner pattern on one side and a floral print on the other.
The cartoon duvet cover also features a Re Cover double opening design, with a coordinating solid color on the reverse side.
Naturally, it also includes the easy-to-remove and replace Re Bedding design.
Conclusion
The Corocoro Coronya® (Bread Cat) collaboration is significant because it's our first partnership with the Japanese cartoon company SAN-X®, and it marks the first step for Re Bedding toward entering the mainstream market. If the response to this Bread Cat cartoon bedding set launch is positive, we hope it will be the beginning of introducing more mainstream and popular cartoon collaboration bedding sets in the coming years, truly establishing Re Bedding as a mainstream option.
In the beginning, Re Bedding only offered a few sizes and colors, which was the best choice given limited resources. But thanks to everyone's support, I've been able to gradually add more sizes, cartoons, and color options. Even now, in 2025, I'm still far from realizing my vision. I wish I could immediately offer more designs and cartoon bedding choices, but reality is harsh, and there are too many things to mention. I've also learned to be patient, silent, and introspective, focusing on my work and waiting for the day when my vision for the entire "Re Bedding" collection matures. But I truly appreciate everyone for allowing me to pursue this "very risky dream."
As I write this, it's two weeks before the launch of the Corocoro Coronya® SAN-X® collaboration. It feels like the night before an exam, right before bed – you've studied what you could, and cramming all night now would be futile. Everything that could be done has been done; the rest is up to fate. I hope everyone enjoys this new Corocoro Coronya® Bread Cat cartoon bedding collaboration.

How to Purchase New Sheets
- If this is your first time purchasing Re Bedding, in addition to selecting the Corocoro Coronya® Bread Cat Bed Sheet with "Bed Sheet with 2 Pillowcases" above, please add a Base that matches your mattress size to your shopping cart (a 2-3CM size tolerance is acceptable; for example, if your mattress is 122x183CM, you can choose 120x183CM). If you wish for your Re Bedding to be waterproof, you can also add a waterproof layer between the mattress and the bed sheet, clipping it onto the Base for use with the Re Bedding. If you already have one, there is no need to purchase it.
