Latest progress, Chinese name, and patent information for new bed sheets.

This week continues to be all about processing. Regarding the new bed sheets , Re Bedding , I won't go into details here since the packaging and design details will be revealed within a month. Currently, it's in the "production stage," meaning the product is being manufactured while you're reading this.

On a side note, did anyone notice that this is our first product with a Chinese name? Previous products were always named "Re xxxx" or "Re yyyy ," but this time it has a Chinese name. New bed sheets and The English name is Re Bedding , and the logo primarily uses Chinese characters with English as a secondary element. This actually reflects my expectations for the product. Naming it in Chinese suggests a desire for widespread adoption, something even Re Pillow didn't do back then.

The patent for the new bed sheet was published this week, which means I can confidently launch this product without fear of plagiarism. The trademark application for the new bed sheet has also been filed with the relevant authorities, the record has been published, and it is currently under review. If all goes well, I can confidently use the name "New Bed Sheet". At this point, everything is ready for the product.

We also hope that the product will be well-received and popular.

Also, the weather has gotten colder recently, but our winter quilts haven't been released yet. Actually, the winter quilts were finished and ready to be released in early October , but I wanted to wait for the new sheets and didn't want to steal the spotlight, so we haven't released them yet. The new sheets are the most important; all other products have to take a backseat. I believe this decision will be the right one.

The significance of weekly journals and reflecting on my growth in operating Re Pillow Co. over the past year.

A year ago, I wouldn't have talked about patents here, because at the time I didn't really understand their importance for long-term development and protecting myself. It wasn't until I realized that my design had been copied that I understood their importance. So, this journal is actually the most reliable record, so that if someone happens to find it in the future, they can refer to it.

This weekly journal is meant to be a factual record. Looking back now, I've truly grown a lot over the past year. In 2022 , I faced many small and large tasks at the company for the first time. I seemed busy every day, doing this and that, but looking back, I don't know what I accomplished, nor do I seem to have done anything to advance the company. I didn't know how to manage my time and lacked a sense of urgency and long-term vision. I'll try to be more specific here, hoping to help you avoid making the same mistakes. Basically, from mid -2022 to the end of the year, every day was spent dealing with "immediate tasks," that is, things that happened within about a week. These might have been issues with express delivery, production schedules, or store locations, but my progress was slow in areas like long-term product line planning, new product research, and the development direction of Re Pillow Co. It wasn't that I didn't try; it's just that my time allocation wasn't good enough, so I dealt with immediate tasks but failed to prepare for future ones. Looking back, I should have delegated more of my tasks to other colleagues and focused on long-term projects, things that others couldn't decide or handle. Back then, I wasn't putting in the same effort as I do now; I lacked a sense of urgency and didn't have a sense of pressing matters. If it was too late to do something, I'd leave it for tomorrow. That was wrong.

However, all of this has improved over the past year. It's good to admit mistakes and learn from experience.

Furthermore, the overall economic environment is unfavorable, there is international conflict, and Hong Kong's local economy is also struggling. I hope everyone is doing well. History is full of ups and downs, but remember that everything is cyclical: there is no eternal peace, nor is there endless darkness. In difficult times, maintain good health and a positive mindset, and everything will get better.
