I've recently been dealing with some collaboration issues between different colleagues. It's really pointless to go into too much detail, but the values involved are something I think we need to establish as part of the company culture.

When I was in primary school, I was in charge of discipline, and the emphasis was often on serving others, self-sacrifice, and being willing to take risks. Of course, I didn't understand this when I was so young; the teachers just said it, so I followed along. But later, in secondary school, I joined the Air Cadet uniformed team, and the training, looking back now, was incredibly rigorous (emergency call check barracks at dawn, strict discipline training, etc.). We were also given many orders that weren't always entirely reasonable, and the whole team had to work together to complete them. If one person made a mistake, the whole team had to be punished with push-ups or running laps. One person would drag everyone down, so you couldn't just "look after yourself." You had to take care of yourself first (that's the basics, because you shouldn't drag others down) before looking after your less successful teammates. Perhaps because of this, I thought having a collective consciousness and helping each other was a normal thing to do. Everyone would be more or less willing to take risks to help others, because if you're doing well, I'm doing well too; if you have a problem, I'll be in trouble too. But after starting work, I discovered that not everyone thinks that way. In fact, everyone has their own personal interests to some extent, which is understandable. But the problem is, if something happens to you that is detrimental to you, or if you have to take extra steps at a loss, and your job doesn't cover it, are you willing to do it and not calculate the cost? This is not "intuitive." But sometimes a company needs to help each other out, work together to get things done, that's how it is.

Also, we're currently planning to renovate and furnish our shop to a higher standard, closer to the level of mainstream big brands. We hope to achieve that.
