This past week, a customer with a very kind heart shared on Threads how much they loved using our bedsheets. This incident also caught the attention of the media, bringing more awareness to our "new bedsheets" concept. Actually, we've been doing this for quite a long time, but perhaps I wasn't good at promoting it, so not many people truly understood the "new bedsheets" idea. This is because my approach to things tends to be on the safe side, taking one step at a time. I've seen some predecessors expand from one store to ten, becoming city-wide famous, only to disappear within a decade. I recall a senior figure I deeply admire who specialized in fresh and bottled juices. Ten years ago, they had many retail stores and their products were stocked in various supermarkets, but eventually, they seemed unable to continue, which I found quite regrettable. Of course, everyone has their own plans and life goals, and perhaps they wanted to rest or enter a new phase of life, which is why they stopped. It's hard to comment on this, as everyone faces their own life challenges. However, this kind of situation is actually very common, and it's fair to say that very few businesses manage to operate for more than ten years; those who do are truly exceptional (excluding those who borrowed heavily to keep their businesses afloat; I'm referring to businesses that can genuinely sustain themselves for ten years, ensuring employees get paid monthly). Personally, I think operating for 3-5 years is a manageable challenge, but anything longer is truly difficult. Yet, once you reach a certain period, it seems to get easier (or so it seems) because people will start to help you.

I often find myself questioning whether I can continue, feeling that it's difficult. I don't know many things, many people are dishonest, and I encounter many difficulties and problems for the first time, not knowing how to solve them. But thankfully, I've met many good people, many "benefactors," around me. Even if they don't directly help, sometimes a word or two from them is a huge help. Of course, some have actually given me special opportunities, and I know it. For example, this week's report from U Lifestyle Hong Kong Living media saved my life. I remember the kindness I've received and keep it in my heart, hoping that when I have the ability someday, I can repay them.
