Welcome to this week's journal. I'll continue to share with you the big and small things that happen at work each week.
- Re Pillow Co. is a formally registered trademark.

Here's the thing: the Re Pillow logo wasn't a registered trademark until this week. That means before this week, anyone could just put the Re Pillow logo on their products and sell them without any problem. However, starting this week, that's no longer allowed, because the trademark has been registered, and we are now Re Pillow Co.®.
- New store renovation
If you've read #021 or even a few months ago, you might know that we're preparing for a new store. This week, there's been new progress on the renovations, so let me show you:

There's probably already a "corridor". The new store won't have much foot traffic, but the location is convenient, and the new store is also larger than the current Taikoo, so we can put out more products for people to try, and we can also use more beds.
- Support After-Sales Support Website

While most customers can easily adjust their pillows to their preferred height, some inquire about finding the perfect height. Therefore, this week we launched the Support website ( https://support.repillow.co ), which answers common pillow questions, such as finding the right pillow height, detailed cleaning instructions, and care methods. The Support website provides more detailed information than the instruction manual included in the packaging and can be consulted if needed.
The most important information is already in the instruction manual, and the support website will be helpful .
- New product development progress

For the past six months or so, we've been developing new materials to improve our products. While this particular product isn't yet available, we believe it will be launched early next year. Some of the newly developed materials (which we've spent considerable time researching and collaborating with companies in various countries) are now ready. This week, we've started having SGS conduct various quality tests. If everything goes smoothly, they will be shipped to Hong Kong in the next month or two. Then, combined with other different raw materials, we can create our new product.
I'm so excited! I hope to be able to share it with everyone soon.
- Conclusion
Doing "real business" in Hong Kong is indeed very foolish, a thankless task. But I'm genuinely happy doing it because it's something I enjoy, so I'll continue.
I recently watched an episode of MM's YouTube channel, "Yongle Noodle Factory" (Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_wx-U8k-Dw ). Seeing how hard they work and how happy they are, I realized they're somewhat similar to us. Of course, in terms of scale, they're much, much bigger than us: our office only has two or three people, while theirs had five or six interviewees. Besides selling to regular customers, they also wholesale to various restaurants, and their factory operates on a 24-hour shift system. Their business is much larger than ours.
Although we don't actually travel together, perhaps because we all run family businesses with factories in Hong Kong, I don't know why, but seeing them makes me feel like I'm not alone on this path, like I've seen that there are still people in Hong Kong doing things that are different from the mainstream of this city.
Many people have emigrated lately, and some of my friends have left or disappeared. Although we all say we might see each other again, deep down we all know the reality. Gradually, I've become quite sentimental myself, unable to deceive myself. In truth, I'm not as happy as I used to be. It seems like this is true for people in Hong Kong as a whole. There seem to be many new entertainment options, but when people calm down, they're actually not happy.
It was already late at night when I was writing this, and I was so sleepy that I didn't even know what I was writing. Everyone, keep going!
