This week, we've been busy with the prototype design for the Re Pillow 3 in the first quarter of 2023 and finalizing the new Refresh product that we've been talking about for a long time, postponed from Christmas to January . This is also the gift we mentioned on Facebook/IG earlier that we would be giving to our old customers.

Re Pillow 3 will be available for everyone to try in a few months, so I won't say much about it. I just want to say that it's been a long time coming, and the development of Re Pillow 3 has taken much longer and more effort than Re Pillow 2, which is a huge improvement. After all, when Re Pillow 2 was being developed, the combined number of likes/followers on Facebook and Instagram was less than 100 , so it was actually a very early stage. Of course, things have to be different now. But I won't say for sure yet; there will be some surprises when it's released.

Some people say it's bad to mention Re Pillow 3 in my weekly journal so early , because it will affect the sales of Re Pillow 2. But after all, this is my weekly journal, and I'll write it if I want to share. I can't be doing so much every week just preparing this product, and then not being allowed to write about it. As for business, it will definitely have its ups and downs, just like life. If you spend your whole life thinking about what not to do and what not to do, life will be very boring. I would rather live a life true to myself, at least I'll be happy.

Changing the subject, I'd like to talk a little about refresh . All the first batches of refreshes were completed this week .

I will post a refresh on the website soon , and you can see the product information there. I will also share some things that you can't see on the website, some behind the scenes.

Refresh will be a charitable project. It is, of course, a product, but it will be different from our previous products. Every single penny of the proceeds from this product, after deducting costs, will be donated. Our profit will be 0% . I will provide detailed cost information and the entire project details on the website.

I understand that it's illogical to do something like this when Re Pillow is facing difficulties. Looking at Refresh separately, its quality and the entire product can definitely sell well and help us get through this difficult time, since we really need new products.

In fact, we really should launch our products faster and in greater quantities. I think many companies would do the same to make more profit. But I believe that something must be done well before it can be launched; otherwise, I wouldn't be able to live with myself. Many companies in the industry simply buy products from suppliers, make minor modifications or repackaging, and present them as their own new products. I don't think this is a good approach. It might make money for the company in the short term, but from the perspective of humanity as a whole, it doesn't contribute to the progress of human technology and quality of life.

That's getting a bit off-topic, but this is something I can explain to everyone why we've been slow to launch our products.

Back to the point: This time I want to donate the profits from Refresh because I've always felt that sometimes everyone wants to do something for the world and for Hong Kong but doesn't know how to do it well (at least I do). I want to find a way to become a bridge between them and help everyone do it in a simple, easy way that you can't lose anything.

When you buy a Refresh product , we deduct the cost of things like the bottle and ingredients, and all of that money is donated to charity. We don't make a single dollar profit. You won't make me rich, but you can get a great product at a great price, and all of my profit is donated.

As people get older, it's easy to become more frugal and stingy. Many people are like this; they weren't stingy with money when they were students, but now that they're working, they start to be more calculating. Of course, people have to live, so they have more to consider, more pressure, and family pressure, etc., which may be a sign of growing up. Therefore, I hope that through shopping, consumers can buy an equivalent product at a normal price without any loss, and perhaps achieve a somewhat charitable effect. Let's try it.

This is also the first time I'm making this public here. Others don't know about it, so thank you for reading my diary.
