Welcome to this week's journal. Let's talk about this week's update .
Finally, a bed.
This week, our Kwai Chung factory finally had a bed where we could test and actually use our products!! If you've seen the previous short interviews on Mill Milk or Sing Tao Daily, you'll know that we're actually a very small and cramped factory. It's clean and hygienic, but the space is tiny. I live and work in these places ... so sometimes please don't blame me for writing things that sound like I'm complaining ... it's really working in a rather challenging environment, definitely not like some customers might imagine a government-funded startup like Cyberport or Science Park, with its glass-enclosed office buildings. This week, I tidied up the space and made room for a bed to test our products. In the past, we had to carry all the products back home / outside to test them because there wasn't even a bed. (I used to have to specifically bring the prototype product back to a quiet public space at the university to secretly put it out for testing, because my home isn't big enough and the factory doesn't have enough space ... ) This time, I finally managed to put it directly in the company using a standard double bed! So the testing process went much more smoothly! I'm so happy! I think this is the biggest breakthrough in the last six months!
The release date for Re Quilt 2 is approaching.
Last week's journal entry mentioned the new quilt, which I believe will be released sometime in April. My colleagues often jokingly call me a perfectionist, saying I'm always doing one thing and then adding another, always wanting to "make it even better," which usually results in the release date being pushed back later and later. It sounds like a compliment, but it's actually a problem. So now, after leaving the office at night, I usually prepare some tasks to do at home, mostly documents and drawings—things I can handle by myself at home. This way, I schedule all the things that can't be done at home, cramming them into the office, trying to avoid doing anything at the office that could also be done at home, thus allowing me to get more work done each day. The release date for Re Quilt 2 is approaching.
The Tranquility Before a New Phase
Before launching this new product, things have been relatively quiet lately, and inevitably some people have expressed doubts and concerns ... But I believe that if you put your heart into something, someone will appreciate it. As long as you don't give up and keep working hard, everything will get better.
