Welcome to this week's journal! The biggest event this week is our five-day BLACKOUT SALE starting Thursday . Actually, I've had this concept of an "annual mega sale" for a long time. Back in October 2021 , the first anniversary of Re Pillow Co. , I had already thought about doing something like this. At that time, I thought of a " Re Pillow Co. Turns ONE Birthday Sale ," but I don't remember if it was because Re Pillow Co. was basically a "one-man company" at the time, and I had to study and take care of Re Pillow's daily work, and I probably missed the October anniversary, so I didn't do it. Then in October 2022 , I was busy with the renovation and opening of the iSQUARE store in Tsim Sha Tsui and taking care of daily work, so I missed it again. By October 2023 , I was busy dealing with the final details of the Re Bedding new bed sheets that I was preparing to launch on Dazhi Road. Although I managed to handle everything, I also felt that I didn't want a bunch of things to pile up at the same time: both new products and a big sale might overwhelm everyone. Therefore, I decided not to do it and set the date around January , before the Lunar New Year, so that everyone could buy them for personal use or as gifts and have them available before the New Year.

If you've been reading my weekly journal (or even if you're a new reader), you know that this journal is mostly for my own record, or to put it bluntly, it's a channel for me to express my emotions and relieve stress when I'm under pressure. It's never been for commercial purposes. However, if you're currently following this, I would suggest you consider buying something from the BLACKOUT SALE for yourself or someone you know. Seriously. Actually, I'd like to explain why I did this blackout sale , but I think it's best to talk about it in a video. I also want to organize my thoughts before I talk about it. Maybe I'll make a video about it next week and then add it to the next weekly blog post.
