The most profound feeling I had this week was pain.

I'm a very sentimental person. When someone tells me about something that happened to them, I easily empathize with their feelings and situation, especially strong feelings like pain, hardship, or disappointment. After hearing it, I easily become unhappy myself. This has its pros and cons: the good is that others feel I understand them; the bad is that my emotions are easily affected, and I easily feel down. It might be something very small, but it can make me very unhappy.

Sometimes, when there are already many troubles and worries at work, the mood becomes even more depressed.

The recent global supply chain tensions, coupled with severe inflation in Europe, have had a significant impact on our development. While this may not be immediately apparent, it's a difficult situation for a small company like Re Pillow Co., which is primarily in manufacturing. Therefore, it's no wonder that many bedding companies on the market ultimately choose the big brands; there are certainly reasons for this.

But at the same time, I am also very clear that I chose this path myself, and I have no complaints. Besides, what profession is easy or easy to do? Every profession has its own difficulties.

As I write this, it's the Mid-Autumn Festival, so I won't go into too many updates this week. We launched a mini pillowcase on Tuesday night, and I have a few things to say about it.

The Re Pillow 2 mini pillowcase has been something we've wanted to make for a while now; it's a product we've wanted to launch for ages. However, being small project managers, while developing new products and creating internal samples for testing is no problem, making an actual product is a bit challenging. Everyone's busy every day, and we only have a limited number of staff. We have to put aside urgent tasks like processing orders and following up on customer deliveries—we don't want people waiting, and we want to ensure a good customer experience. Plus, we only have a limited number of manufacturing staff. The sewing room is always busy with existing products, leaving little time for new projects, which means new product development is often delayed. So, this pillowcase has been talked about for a long time, and it's finally here!

Even the most difficult days will eventually come to an end. We believe Re Pillow Co. will have a tomorrow, and therefore, there will be a tomorrow.

Finally, I wish everyone, whether staying in Hong Kong or abroad, a happy and healthy holiday.
