Another week is coming to an end, and it's time to sit down and write in my journal.

The name "Weekly Journal" was inspired by the weekly journals our teachers made us write when we were in elementary school. This week, a colleague told me that "Weekly Journal" is a very old-fashioned name and that I should use a more formal name. Although I agree that the name isn't very professional, I feel that "Weekly Journal" has a kind of "childlike innocence" and a very "genuine" feeling. It's almost like going back in time to elementary school and writing in a notebook.

Therefore, for the time being, I will still call this weekly article a "weekly journal".

That being said, I don't want to talk about anything else this week, I just want to say this:

We would like to ask you!

We are currently looking to hire both full-time and part-time sales staff. If you are currently looking for a job, or want to try a part-time position, or are actually looking to try a new job, you are welcome to join us.

Okay, that's all for the ad. I really hope you'll join us if you're a good fit!

Let's talk a little about hiring people.

I've been thinking lately about whether we could start an internship program.

Internships, known as "smoking inn" in Chinese, are quite popular among college students.

During their studies, in order to "brush up their CVs," students would go out and look for internship opportunities during every holiday, whether it was summer or winter break, not wanting to miss out and waste their vacation time.

I myself was no exception, and I made many friends and had many rare experiences, but that's another story, I'll tell you next time.

If Re Pillow Co. were to create an Internship Programme, I would probably like it to look like this:

  • Number of people: 4-5
  • Target audience: College students
  • Number of days: 2 weeks
  • Content: Visit the factory to see the production process, try making products by hand, assist in the design and research of new products, participate in internal and external business meetings, handle various documents, discuss promotional methods, take turns experiencing a day's work at the store, and help think about how to do better, etc.

However, I think many people might find it too boring, and since Re Pillow Co. is relatively unknown and can't brush up the CV, probably not many people will be interested.

Okay, enough daydreaming. The Intern Programme isn't real, but we are indeed hiring. If you're interested in joining us, please visit: https://repillow.co/careers

See you next week!
